Our Corporate Planning Office Manager [Masaya Teshigawara] has taken on the challenge of the 2nd round of GIA (Gunma Innovation Award)!

Participants, from students to working adults, were divided into classes and presented their excellent business plans.

Senior executives from Jomo Shimbun, JINS, Cainz, Open House, and Gunma Bank, including their presidents, attended as judges.

Our Corporate Planning Department is holding a seminar entitled "Ideal Education, Energy Saving Gunma - Connecting Japan's No. 1 Energy Saving Techniques to the Next Generation."

The presentation stated that "The rising electricity bills, an issue facing schools, will be resolved by "supporting energy conservation with students," and in the medium to long term, this will evolve into an activity that involves the whole of Japan, and through educating young people, we will achieve the carbon neutrality that the world is aiming for."

Unfortunately, we were unable to advance to the finals, but it was a tremendous asset for us to have our company's vision shared with the enthusiastic people and knowledgeable people of Gunma Prefecture.

We have actually already started activities with Tomioka High School.

EIKOH SEISAKUSYO will cut off the electricity together with students to create a brighter future for Gunma, Japan, and the world.
