August 19, 2024 (Mon)
We carried out Roots internships at our group's nursing care facilities: "Nijinoie," "Taiyounoie," and "Sugao."
The Roots Internship is a project in which Gunma Prefecture, Katariba, and companies collaborate to give students with foreign roots the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese society through internships.
This is the second time we have accepted such a company, following our previous acceptance at our head office factory.
In order to prioritize infection control and the peaceful lives of our caregivers, our nursing care facilities are not usually open to the public.
This time, we gave the students a variety of tours in the hope that they would be able to gain a true sense of caregiving, something that is not often seen in practice.
I hope that one day something that the students learned during this internship will be useful to them.
